Name of Project: “Genomics of Polycystic Kidney Disease
(PKD): Understanding molecular mechanism of disease pathophysiology in Indian
patient and families.”
Emoluments: Rs.31000.00 P.M. + HRA at 16 percent of
fellowship.
Duration: sanctioned up to 2021 (Three years). This
post is purely temporary and coterminous with the project.
Age: Upper age limit 28 years (Five years
relaxation for Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidate and Three
years relaxation for OBC candidate)
Essential Qualifications: MSc. In Human Genetics/Genetics/Clinical
Genetics/Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Zoology/Biosciences with at
least55% marks. Qualified NET/GATE or equal according to specifications of
this financing Agency concerned i.e. National Level Examination conducted
by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as
DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, JCMR, IIT, JJSc, IISER etc.
Desirable Experience: Experience of research in the area of the
project or Human Genetics, Genomics, Proteomics, NGS All qualifications being
equal. SC/ST candidates will be chosen according to Govt. Rules.
